The 20th of June was the Cleaning Day. Our cleaners vacuum clean, mop, fabric everything and make sure our amenities are always look nice. That's why we placed them literally in the flowers or between the coffee cookies.
Armonea, proud participant in the Green Deal Circular Purchases

On June 8, 2017, Joke Schauvliege gave the launch of Green Deal Circular Purchases. The signatories, including Armonea, commit themselves to buying not only products, but also sustainable solutions. Thus we maximize materials and resources and reduce the waste.
Circular purchases are dealing with goods with attention to human, planet and wallet. It is a process of choosing for reusable, biobased or biodegradable materials, sharing resources and articles with other organizations or lending products instead of buying.
Economic and ecological optimization
In circular purchases, we charge more criteria than simply 'Do we need it?':
· Are there other solutions available so we do not need to make a new purchase?
· Is the product developed and produced fairly and ecologically?
· Can it be recycled at the end of its life?
The Green Deal is limited to projects by June 2019, but it is beyond doubt that in all our future deals we will be even more aware of the impact on the environment and a fair production process.
The charter further challenges us to examine our existing resources. Sharing, lending or renting ... There are several slopes to provide a little more useful or less time-consuming materials. Logistics also offers ways to optimize without compromising on quality, and with ecological, financial or time gains.
Two files for Armonea
84 companies and 50 support partners aim for 150 projects by June 2019. Various workshops are organized in which participants share their knowledge about circular purchases. Armonea presents two files within the year, one from 'purchases' and one from 'development and facilities'.
With circular purchases, we want to make a difference by keeping in mind the origin, life span and processing of our products and resources. In short, we add the bar to higher standards by adding our ecological and honest criteria to ecology and fair trade.
